Dental practice of Dr Luc Tétaz

Dr Luc Tétaz qualified as a dentist in 1991 and defended his doctoral thesis at the University of Geneva in 1993. He worked for two years in the dental service at the university medical outpatient and emergency department (PMU) in Lausanne, under the direction of Dr Michel Perrier, and in various dental practices. He is a member of the Dental Association of the Canton of Vaud and of the Swiss Dental Association. In 1995, he took over his father’s dental practice, and enlarged it in 2000.
His routine practice covers surgery in the fields of implantology, gum and bone grafting, tooth extractions including wisdom teeth, and endodontics. He also performs restorations with prostheses (dentures) on implants or natural teeth (bridges, crowns, ceramic veneers) and works closely with an osteopath in the non-invasive treatment of disorders of the temporomandibular joint and postural problems.

Professional activities
Since 1995, Dr Tétaz has been the dental consultant for two insurance groups.
From 2004 to 2014, he was a expert dental witness for the Dental Association of the Canton of Vaud (SVMD).
From 2001 to 2004, he was president of the SVMD.
Since 2014, he has been a member and subsequently chair of the SVMD mediation committee.
